Le Clos Vaze Garden Renovation
A strip-out and rebuild of a failing back garden in St Helier — cracked paving lifted, ground re-prepared and a new porcelain patio laid on a fresh mortar bed. Project recently completed; final reveal photos to follow.

The journey
Before
The original paving had failed — cracked slabs, weeds through the joints and a layout that no longer worked for the owners. The brief was to start again from a clean base.
Strip-out
The full surface was lifted and the broken paving removed. We cleared the area down to a solid base ready for the new build-up — the rubble pile is a good measure of what came out.
Rebuild
New sub-base laid, levels set and porcelain tiles being placed on a fresh mortar bed with consistent spacers. The contrast with the original surface is already clear at this stage.
